Smarane of Paramapriya Subbaraya dasaru - August 2017

Founded by Paramapriya Subbaraya dasaru at 1900, this is 117th year of Dasa Koota at Devarayanadurga. Paramapriyaru is Parama guru of Jambavathi priya dasaru (Harati Prahlad), founder of our Vidyalaya.

Also this is 100th birth year of our Founder's mother, Swargeeya Smt. Subbamma Gururajachar.

Year long celebrations was planned to celebrate both the above landmarks. Every month - One day from 2017 to 2018 at different places - and do smarane about Paramapriya dasaru.

From April 2017, the celebrations are being done as below:

April 2017 - Devarayanadurga (Dasaru's Aradhana - Rama Navami day)
May 2017 - Devarayanadurga
June 2017 - Sri Raghavendra Swamy mutt at Magadi
July 2017 - Sri Vyasaraja Swamy Mutt at Srirangapatna.

For August 2017, the event happened on 5th & 6th at Hanumappa temple at Yelagalavadi village at sannidhana of Moola brindavana of Sri Jayadwaja Theertharu. There is a Vyasarjaru-prathishtitha-Hanuman also there just near the brindavana. Yelagalavadi village is located at about 10kms from Magadi in Kunigal - Magadi Road.

On 6th, Puja, Panchamrutha Abhisheka & Alankara done to Jayadwajaru. After that, Prahladachar gave a discourse on Sadhana Suladhi of Sri Vijayadasaru.

MathruShri prashasthi was conferred to Sri Sadananda Joshi, who is conducting Veda patashala at Srirangapatna.

Devaranamas & Suladhis were performed by the Haribhakthas during the occasion.

After the Mahamangalarathi, theerthaprasadha was done.
